Jansen & Sixel Landscaping LLC provides a 6-step fertilizer program to keep your Sheboygan County lawn looking great! You just sign up for our lawn care service, pay for the fertilizer program and we do the rest. Prices start at $195 for lawns under 5,000 square feet in size. Addtional lawn care services offered in Sheboygan include, dethatchings, lawn overseeding, spring cleanups, tree work, and lawn mowing.
Step 1 - Early Spring
Crabgrass preventer is the first application of the year. This process controls crabgrass, annual grasses and broad leaf weeds before they grow. Provides slow release nitrogen which is beneficial for extended lawn feeding.
Step 2 & 3 - Late Spring
These two applications are done at the same time. The first is liquid broad leaf weed control. This controls dandelion, thistle, clover, and over 100 other weeds. Next is lawn food which improves the color and density of your lawn.
Step 4 - Mid Summer
Mid-summer lawn food providing a feeding of fertilizer to improve color, density, and uniformity of lawn. Includes iron and other nutrients for deeper greening.
Step 5 - Late Summer
In order to keep your lawn fresh, thick and free of weeds, another spray application should be applied at the end of the summer months. This application includes liquid broad leaf weed control.
Step 6 - Fall
Fall is the best time to ensure that your lawn survives the Wisconsin winter. This applicatoin is winterizer and prepares turf for dormancy, improves spring green up and promotes disease resistance, as well.
